Hello! We’re back! The boy and I just returned from Whistler, BC. Holy hobbies! Anyone who is an outdoor enthusiast would be in paradise there! And we were.
Before I get down to the nitty-gritty, like photos and details and what-not, I’m super excited to share this video that I made of the boy’s mountain biking adventures. He uses a GoPro Hero 2 and I’ve been fooling around with the footage to make a little videodocumentary. Here’s what I came up with. The quality was a little lost in the compression, and it looks much better on iMovie, but you’ll get the general idea. I apologize in advance for any headaches that will ensue. But it’s only a short video…
We both had a blast! It’s absolutely gorgeous there. Needless to say, we are already planning our next trip.

Awesome video of some sweet riding. That area is one place on my bucket list to get to. Glad that you had a great time!

You must go! So much to see and do! Would love to visit in the winter as well.

love the video. I’ve downhilled at Keystone (pretty frickin’ awesome) quite a bit and have always wanted to try Whistler…so beautiful there and I hear the trails are amazing. This sudden running addiction I have has kept me off my mtn bike….and I don’t seem to have the energy to do both – so running it is…

I run TOO much!
I need to cross train more (i.e. mtn biking!). Nick downhills a lot at the CO resorts in the summer, and Whistler was everything he hoped and imagined it to be. Go!

that video is awesome! I’d never heard of the go pro hero2 before but I’ve been seeing it everywhere lately! I was thinking of getting one to take to Africa with me… I have high hopes of seeing a cheetah chase or something and taking 10 frames a second… I want to go to Whistler SO bad!! too bad toronto is the closest canadian town I’m getting to for a while =)

I think it would be a great purchase for Africa! Just make sure you have a large enough SD card, unless you’ll upload your footage every so often.
